PUBLIC TRANSPORT
By tram from Central Station: tram 4, 9, 16 and 25 in the direction of Dam Square. Get out at the second tram stop 'Rokin/Spui'. Cross over the road, take the alleyway by the statue of Queen Wilhelmina on horseback and then left into the Nes.

By the tram from Waterlooplein via Muntplein in the direction of Central Station: tram 9 or 14. get out at tram stop 'Rokin/Spui' (first stop after 'Muntplein'). On the right, passed the statue of Queen Wilhelmina on horseback and then left into the Nes.

CAR
From the ring road A10, follow signs for 'Centrum' and then 'Parkeren Bijnenkorf', 'Parkeren Muziektheater', 'Parkeren Waterlooplein' or 'Parkeren Markenhoven'.

STREET PARKING
Parking in the neighbourhood of the Nes is extremely limited, certainly more so in the evenings. The charges for street parking in the centre of Amsterdam are €5 per hour (Monday to Sunday, 9 a.m. until midnight). A day-ticket costs €30 and an evening-ticket (7 p.m. until midnight) costs €20, a day+evening ticket costs €45, a Sunday ticket costs €21 and a Sunday-total ticket costs €36.

There are several car parks in the neighbourhood of Brasserie Harkema:
Car Park 'Muziektheater'
The parking garage 'Het Muziektheater' is situated under the Town Hall and Music Theatre complex. this garage is open 24/7.
Car Park 'Waterlooplein'
The parking garage 'Waterlooplein' is situated in the Valkenburgerstraat. The garage is open daily from 7 p.m. until 1 a.m. Monday to Wednesday: 7 a.m. until 1.30 a.m. Thursday to Saturday 24 hours. Sunday: 10 a.m. until 1.30 a.m. SMS me the route
'De Bijenkorf' Amsterdam has a car park with a capacity 487 places. This car park is situated on the Beursplein. The garage is open 24/7.
Car Park 'De Kolk'
This garage is situated on the Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal at the Nieuwezijds Kolk, behind the Palace on Dam Square. From the Nieuwzijds Kolk, you can walk to the Nes across Dam Square in 10 minutes.

You can also park your car on the outskirts of the city, e.g. the 'Transferium' at Amsterdam ArenA (call +31(0)20 400 1721 for information) and then take public transport into the centre of Amsterdam.
